PAS, or pedal assist system, is an operating mode on an electric bike which uses a motor to assist your pedalling, enabling a less strenuous ride. There are 5 levels of pedal assistance from the motor, each one assisting you to a different degree. The motor can be activated by pressing the lower key on the SW900 display, and it will provide starting power up to 4 kph. Upon activation, pedalling will be motor assisted

Yes, the KWOLITY e-bike has a ‘No Assistance’ mode which enables it to operate as a normal pedal tricycle. If you’d like to use this mode, simply do not press the power button before riding your e-bike. This mode is useful if you’re using your bike for exercise purposes. When you feel you’ve done enough exercise, or if you encounter a hill which is too difficult to climb alone, pedal assistance is only a button press away. Simply press the power button to activate it once again. 

A  KWOLITY e-bike can be purchased, rented or leased.

If you’re interested in buying a KWOLITY e-bike, they start at $2650 plus delivery. You have the option of paying this outright or in four instalments. 

You can rent a KWOLITY e-bike for $150 per month. The minimum rental period is 6 months, paid upfront, including $75 delivery fee.

You may find cheaper e-bikes on the market but, as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for”. We’re confident that the KWOLITY e-bike is easily the best among e-bikes in a similar price range, thanks to the quality of its components, its long-term durability, and its vast array of useful and outstanding features.

A puncture to the tyre of your e-bike can be repaired in much the same way as an ordinary bike tyre, using a standard puncture repair kit.  Further details are provided in the user guide supplied with every KWOLITY e-bike.

The Kwolity range of E Bikes have 7 gears. One paddle lever on the front right of the handlebars will take you down through the 7 gears, whilst the paddle lever at the back will take the rider up through the gears. Easy to use and changes gears with ease.

It’s best to recharge the battery after each use as this keeps the battery fully charged and ready for the next outing. The battery of your e-bike does not have to be empty to accept charge. Charging your e-bike is simple: Just plug the charger into the terminal, just under the saddle, then connect the unit to a domestic power supply. Remove the charger when fully charged. Whilst the charger is a smart charger, in that it will stop charging when it considers the battery is fully charged, it is prudent to disconnect as soon as fully charged.

The Kwolity E Bikes come with PAS (pedal assist system) that assists the rider to easily move down the road ahead. It has a feature to assist you when getting started. By holding the lower button on the SW900 panel, the motor will kick in and assist the rider to get that initial movement. It is limited to about 4 kph but can be useful to get started from a stopped position.

Basically it doesn’t. Keep the chain clean with sufficient oil. The only complication is if the back wheel tyre needs a new tube, the rider will have to remove the wheel. The motor in the back wheel hub and the gears attached to the axle makes this more complicated. We suggest that it be done by a bike mechanic. See this YouTube video for more information.
